Vijay's 'Leo' breaks Jawaan's record
Thalapathy Vijay's new movie 'Leo', one of the most successful heroes of the Tamil industry, created a storm before its release. The movie has already set some records behind Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawaan'.
The film 'Leo' directed by Lokesh Kangraj is going to release on Thursday (October 19). Apart from India, the premiere show of the movie has been arranged in the US as well. Where 'Leo' will be displayed on 1755 screens simultaneously. Compared to that, 'Jawaan' was shown on 1600 screens. As a result, Vijay's Leo overtook Shah Rukh's Jawaan in the beginning outside India.
On the other hand, the movie is on its way to break all records in advance ticket sales as well. According to industry tracker Saknilk, the film 'Leo' earned Rs 70 crore in India alone for the first two days of advance ticket sales! Out of which the film earned Rs. 34 crore from the sale of about 18 lakh tickets on the first day of the show. Which is already the highest advance ticket sales record in the history of Tamil cinema!
